About Anahat Yoga · Since 2005

From One Class to a Growing Yoga Community

Anahat Yoga began with a single class in New Sangvi on 21 December 2005. Through years of practice, teaching and learning, it has grown into a Yoga community across Pune and online — guided by founder Dr. Vishvanath Pise.

Our Story

It Began With a Single Class

Anahat Yoga began with a single class in New Sangvi, Maharashtra, on 21 December 2005. What began as one class gradually developed into a broader Yoga teaching community through years of practice, teaching and learning.

The journey expanded across Pune — to Baner, Balewadi and Wakad — and later into online Yoga practice, so students could keep practising wherever life took them.

Today, Anahat Yoga works across daily Yoga practice, personal guidance, Yoga education, corporate and institutional programs, meditation and community initiatives.

Anahat is the heart centre in yogic tradition — the sound that is continuous and comes from within.
